An Important Message to Students:

As COVID-19 continues to impact the way we live, work, go to school, interact with our friends, family, and our College community, Lakeview College of Nursing is committed to keeping our friends and family safe.

We are very disappointed to share the news that we will continue online instruction through April 17, and commencement ceremonies will not take place as scheduled on May 8, due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.  This cancellation was an outcome we had hoped to avoid.  Commencement reflects the very core of our mission. It provides a richly diverse celebration for our graduates and the parents, family, friends, faculty, and staff who supported you along the way.

We would like to invite all May 2020 graduates the opportunity to participate in the December 11, 2020, commencement ceremony.  As that date nears, we will provide more information about how our May 2020 grads will be an important part of the event.

Current plans are being made for developing a recording of commencement speakers and announcement of graduate names.  Further details will soon be provided on how each May 2020 graduate will be able to participate in this virtual event.

Seniors are still scheduled to take the proctored Comp Predictor on April 24 at the College. Information for fingerprinting, exam registration and graduation photos will be forthcoming.

We thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.  We hope that you all are staying safe and healthy!

Sincerely,

President Mingee and Dean Stuckey
